Cole Brings Plenty, who starred in "Yellowstone" spinoff "1923," has died at the age of 27. The nephew of "Yellowstone" star Moses Brings Plenty was reported missing earlier this week. Brings Plenty was found dead on Friday (April 5) in Johnson County, Kansas, according to the Johnson County Sheriff's Office. Following the news, Moses Brings Plenty shared a statement to Instagram on Friday evening on behalf of the family, written by his brother, Joe Brings Plenty. Brings Plenty was introduced as Pete Plenty Clouds in the final two episodes of Taylor Sheridan's "Yellowstone" prequel series, "1923," aired last year.

New York CNN —The most famous – and arguably the best – Super Bowl ad in history, the Apple “1984” ad, was nearly killed by the company for whom it was made. But Apple’s board of directors hated the 1984 ad, according to some of the ad executives who worked on the campaign. They hated it so much, in fact, that they ordered the agency that made it, Chiat/Day, to sell off the time they had already purchased on that year’s Super Bowl, rather than run the ad. He said it also changed the way that companies thought about Super Bowl ads in the 40 years since it aired. Chiat/Day, the agency that created the ad people are still talking about 40 years later, was fired by Apple soon afterward.

In a head-spinning day of court action on Monday, a lawyer for the National Rifle Association grilled its longtime chief, Wayne LaPierre, about his lavish spending. But the legal fireworks appeared to be part of a strategy to the bolster the contention of Mr. LaPierre and the N.R.A. Mr. LaPierre, 74, is a defendant in the lawsuit brought in 2020 by the New York attorney general, Letitia James. There were also trips where Mr. LaPierre and his family were hosted by N.R.A. And there was prodigious spending on charter flights; Mr. LaPierre didn’t dispute that some of the flights were solely for relatives.

Wayne LaPierre resigned as leader of the National Rifle Association on Friday, ending his decadeslong reign over the prominent gun rights group, days before the start of his civil trial in New York. "My passion for our cause burns as deeply as ever," LaPierre said in a statement. The attorney general claims LaPierre spent more than $500,000 of the NRA's assets to fly himself and his family members to the Bahamas. The civil trial in Manhattan is expected to begin Monday and will last for six weeks. The attorney general is seeking both remedies, which Cohen would decide on during a second phase of the trial.
